The Bar/Longhouse
I like to build model buildings. My newest project is the bar that i've started. I used simple cardboard for the base and got some little ad ons from the warhammer Watchtower. It took a bit of planning at first but after the basic plans were done on graph paper it just took some cutting and with the help of some ordinary white glue it was done. Now i'm deciding how to paint it and what material to use for the roof. Here is the bar before completion:
After those pictures were taken I decided to make a sort of "shingle" roof instead of a thatched one. First of all to start I had to find some nice thin cardboard and cut it into small squares. Then with the help of the old white glue it was done. And i had a very nice "shingle" roof. Here are the pictures:
After that was done i used some watered down white glue and did a light coat of that on the roof then I just brushed a little sand into the cracks to make it look like cement. Then i used a dark gray to do the basecoat of the roof then
